Its Vacancy Support page says, “Solve your teacher vacancies with an interim solution so kids don’t have to fall behind.” It describes teaching “using your school’s curriculum” with “U.S. Certified Teachers,” in small groups where each student has a personal screen, “Available up to 5 Days a Week,” and says “Same Teachers Stay Full Term.”

Tutoring for All

Its Tutoring for All page says the program “Serves Grades K-12 in Math and ELA,” in small groups, and “Takes place during school hours, after school, Saturdays, or summer.” It reports a 2022–23 program with Indianapolis Public Schools families: “2,000 students,” “30K” learning hours, and “80%” of parents highly likely to recommend it.

Virtual Intervention

Its Virtual Intervention page describes “targeted skills-based, high-dosage tutoring, aligned to Math and ELA standards,” for K–12 students in small groups, with a standards-aligned pre-assessment and a post-assessment. For 2022–23 it reports “118K Learning Hours Delivered,” “20.9% Growth in Math Standards” and “22.7% Growth in ELA Standards.”

SAT Test Prep

Its SAT Test Prep page describes “synchronous, virtual tutoring for the Math and Reading and Writing sections of the SAT,” with “Small groups of five or fewer students per teacher” and “rigorous College Board-aligned content.” It says, “School districts partner with TbT at no cost to students or their families.”

ELL Support

Its EL page says the program “meets the unique needs of each EL student,” with support for newcomers, including students with interrupted formal education (SIFE); “High-dosage tutoring that leverages EL scaffolding” for ELs at various proficiency levels; and academic vocabulary and skills support for long-term ELs. Instruction is “Individual or small group,” by “EL-certified teachers.”

Summer Academy

Its homepage says Summer Academy “provides an engaging Math and ELA curriculum for a 20-day summer sequence.” Its Summer Academy page describes four- or five-week programs for elementary and middle school students and reports, for summer 2022, 130K learning hours, with 82% of students increasing their mastery of key Math standards and 72% of key ELA standards.

Tutored by Teachers Staff

Its homepage describes a “Teacher-Tutor Community of 6,800+ Experienced Teachers,” of whom 62% have graduate degrees, with a 12-year average of classroom experience, and 42% identify as people of color. The homepage gives 48% as special education or ELL certified; its Vacancy Support and EL pages give 52%. Its SAT page says teachers are “rigorously vetted and monitored.”
